Form-Ground Ceramic Cores

Form-ground products start with extruded shapes and add details such as a second diameter, tapers, notches, flats, and other routine features. We use centerless grinding, turning, drilling, and machining to produce these more complex shapes. We also produce threaded cores compensated for casting shrinkage.

Form ground tolerances are typically +/- 0.0015 inches (0.04 mm) on diameters.
